Just something I did to fix my ideas about the different ‘peoples’ in my story in my head. Briefly, there is a powerful maritime empire centred on the tropical island of Quri. The Empresses’s cousin leads the neighbouring island of Jewasri in rebellion, which causes a flood of refugees to the distant cold island of Hordnel. Meanwhile the mainland colony of Lansisari refuses to take sides in the civil war and retreats towards a simpler semi-hunter-gather way of life.

The story begins here and ends four books later, (when I eventually get round to writing them :doh: ) here

Hmm, good question. I seem to have missed it off the list of stock artists. It is a blend of two faces, some parts coming from the original head [link] and the other (more prominent) from...let me look that up and get back to you. I've got all the pictures I used in a folder, it'll just take me some time to browse through it.
